Biography
1897 (Meiji 30) February 9, born in Kyoto (京都), Japan
1915 Succeeded in the footsteps of his late father, Kaho (華峯) , and called himself Roseki (露石), the 2nd.
Since then, he has devoted himself to training in Kochi ware (交趾焼), Moriage, and carving techniques. Under his father, Kaho, he studied the art of Kochi ware and Nanga (南画 : Ink painting) under Tangai Ueda (上田丹涯).
1975 October ‘Ki-Kochi Flower Vase (黄交趾花瓶 : 鳳凰, Phoenix)’ was donated to the Akasaka State Guest House in Tokyo
1976 (Showa 51) 3rd September Passed away in Kyoto City at the age of 79 (Kyonen: 80)

1947 Established Muenkai (無厭会), became a member
1949 Selected for the Kyoto Kogei Art Exhibition Commendation
1951 Selected for the Kyoto Kogei Art Exhibition Commendation
1960 Established the Kyoto Traditional Ceramic Artists Association (京都伝統陶芸家協会 = Kyoto dento togeika kyokai), centered on artists residing in Kyoto who have been certified to preserve techniques.
